ICIWaRM sponsors Global Water News Watch, hosted by the University of Arizona's center for Sustainability of semi-Arid Hydrology and Riparian Areas. Global Water News Water is a water news service containing more than 21,000 summaries of news items published in eight languages from 200 countries. Topics range from climate change and conservation to water policy and new treatment technologies. Features include the ability to search for articles by keywords, topics, time frame and region, and an interactive map viewer.

Water News Tracker is a related G-WADI service funded by UNESCO and developed at the University of Arizona's SAHRA center.
